Logistics Operations Executive

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Co-ordination with Scrap Committee for e-auction, vendor identification, rate finalization and agreement execution for all BGSW locations.

• Liaison with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth movement and proper documentation of scrap disposals.

• Coordinated and executed the systematic identification, segregation, and removal of scrap materials from operational locations.

• Ensured compliance with environmental, safety, and internal audit standards during the disposal process.

• Facilitated vendor engagement for transportation and environmentally compliant scrap disposal.

• Maintained accurate scrap logs, weight details, and disposal certificates for audit and reporting purposes.

Educational qualification: Any Degree from Recognized University

Experience : Experience of 1-2 years in handling scrap disposals.

Mandatory/requires Skills :

• Experience in identifying, classifying, and segregating scrap materials.

• Familiarity with environmental regulations, internal audit norms, and documentation processes (e.g., scrap logs, disposal certificates, vendor gate passes).

• Awareness of occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and environmentally responsible disposal methods.

• Experience in using tools like SAP, Excel, and tools for tracking scrap movement and approvals.

Preferred Skills :

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams—Finance, User Departments, FCM for smooth execution.

• Proven ability to manage deadlines and audits

• Experience in preparing reports for leadership and supporting internal/external audits with relevant records
