The Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of all daily targets, goals, and process flows for Receiving, Returns, Inventory, and Outbound related activities. How you create impact

• Lead 24/7 distribution operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with client requirements

• Oversee inventory flow, labor planning, training, and adherence to quality/safety standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, QSHE)

• Manage budgeting, P&L, performance reviews, audits, and compliance reporting

• Drive continuous improvement, cost savings, cross-training, and process optimization

• Ensure accurate, timely service delivery and engage with clients through regular business reviews

• Plan and schedule all logistics services including receiving, inspection, storing, delivery, handling returned/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient manner, and in compliance with all applicable regulatory and quality standards
• Assure that orders are picked and processed timely and within prescribed quality and performance levels
• Track process productivities to ensure staffing models and employee cross training is aligned with expectations
• Ownership of tracking and documentation of out of scope work orders and overtime hours worked.
• Maintain employee awareness of and compliance to the Kuehne + Nagel Quality, Safety & Health, Environment, and Security
• Management Systems, (QSHE). Maintain compliance to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
• Coordinate and assist with internal and external QMS, Compliance, Customer and Operational audits.
• Ensure required training is provided to all employees in support of the QMS according to the Training Matrix
• Ensure the updating of Work Instructions and Job Aids in support of the QMS

What we would like you to bring

• Five years of management experience in a faced-paced logistics environment
• Strong customer orientation and problem-solving skills
• Proven proficiency in an automated warehouse environment, working knowledge of WMS technologies
• Successful track record in leadership and supervising the work of subordinates
• Experience with consumer retail industry standards and requirements a plus
• Experience with ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems a plus
• Successful communication - written and verbal
• Establish priorities and multi-task
• Possess professional business demeanor
