Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified
Logistics & Procurement Officer
with solid experience in
customs operations & Procurement
. The role is based in a
Private Free Zone
and requires hands-on expertise in import/export activities, customs clearance, and compliance with Egyptian regulations and free zone laws.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable dealing with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and government platforms while ensuring smooth material flow and procurement efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Manage end‑to‑end import and export processes within a Private Free Zone.

Coordinate with customs, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and ports.

Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation.

Handle all customs-related activities using
NAFEZA
, including Submission of shipment data, Follow-up on customs releases, and Compliance with
ACID
requirements

Ensure compliance with
GAFI
, Customs Law, and Free Zone regulations.

Maintain close follow‑up on shipment and customs activities to ensure efficient flow and prevent additional costs related to demurrage and detention.

Manage local and international procurement activities in line with business needs.

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost‑effective purchasing.

Issue purchase orders and track deliveries until final receipt.

Maintain vendor records, contracts, and procurement documentation.

Coordinate procurement activities with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure continuity of operations.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in
Business Administration
, or a related field.

Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within a reputable logistics organization or a Private Free Zone
-
Strong hands‑on experience with Egyptian Customs procedures and NAFEZA (mandatory).

In‑depth knowledge of:

Egyptian customs regulations
-
Investment Law & Free Zone systems
-
Import/export documentation and HS code classification
-
Familiarity with
ACID shipment process
.

Very good command of English (written & spoken).

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or similar) is an advantage.
