Position: Logistics Sales Executive
Location: Chennai
Department: Sales & Business Development
Reporting to: Director

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Logistics Sales Executive to develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain sales, with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new sales leads for logistics and transportation services.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored logistics solutions.
  • Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
  • Maintain an updated customer database and sales reports.
  • Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of proven sales experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations (domestic/international, road, sea, air).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with strong target orientation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
