The Warehouses and Logistics Specialist is responsible for overseeing the company’s logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective customs clearance, full compliance with governmental regulations, and optimal management of both local and international warehouses.
This role focuses on ensuring smooth logistics operations, timely shipment and delivery, effective vendor and partner coordination, and maintaining compliance with AIG’s HSE and operational standards. The employee will also support continuous improvement initiatives and develop the skills of team members through effective coaching and training programs.

Manage all customs clearance activities locally and internationally, ensuring full compliance with international trade laws, Egyptian Customs Authority requirements, and any other relevant regulations.

Continuously identify and select the most cost-effective shipping options, maintaining strong relationships with AIG’s shipping partners and customs clearance agents worldwide.

Ensure optimal delivery timelines by selecting the most efficient shipping methods according to AIG policy and customer requirements.

Expand AIG’s logistics network and operational solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Manage all communications with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure smooth customs clearance and on-time delivery of shipments.

Oversee NTRA and other government-related activities locally and internationally related to logistics and warehousing operations.

Identify, manage, and maintain local and international warehouse facilities, ensuring they meet company standards for safety, efficiency, and compliance.

Supervise inventory management across all warehouses, including monitoring minimum/maximum stock levels, product shelf life, and replenishment requirements in coordination with Finance and Account Management teams.

Ensure all shipping documentation is processed and maintained accurately, and that delivery timelines are met consistently.

Maintain and monitor vendor relationships related to logistics and warehousing to ensure smooth operations and contract compliance.

Guarantee that all warehouse facilities meet HSE standards and align with AIG’s internal policies.

Oversee the update and maintenance of AIG’s registration data with all relevant customers and partners to ensure accurate contact information.

Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Ability to prepare and deliver presentations in both English and Arabic.
