Logistics Specialist

We are seeking candidates for the position of ‘Logistics Specialist’ for our business partner operating in the mining sector, for whom we provide consulting services.

The Logistics Specialist manages and coordinates transport activities from vendor locations to Hopa yards and onward to the site. This role ensures the timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of cargo while maintaining close communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrange and monitor domestic and international shipments under EXW, FCA, FOB, or DAP terms.

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport contractors.

• Prepare and verify transport documentation (CMR, waybills, permits, manifests).

• Track shipment status and provide delivery updates to project teams.

• Support RFQ and bid evaluation processes for logistics service providers.

• Monitor transport costs, transit times, and compliance with HSE requirements.

• Report transport deviations, damages, or delays and assist in corrective actions.

• Liaise with yard teams for offloading and staging coordination.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.

• Minimum 5 years of logistics experience in industrial or construction projects.

• Knowledge of Incoterms, transport modes, and customs procedures.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Proficient in MS Office and tracking tools.

• English and Turkish fluency required.
