Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain process, ensuring efficient transportation and storage of goods. This position requires strong organizational skills, an understanding of logistics operations, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. We are looking for bright individuals who are open to learning.

Our office is located in Los Angeles (Monrovia) California. Please only apply if you live or plan to live in the greater Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee logistics operations, including shipping and receiving
• Manage overseas and domestic vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery
• Assist in sourcing materials and negotiating contracts with suppliers
• Import Export processing administration
• Utilize transportation systems to track shipments and manage inventory levels
• Collaborate with customs broker and warehouse teams to ensure proper storage and handling of products
• Order fulfillment and dispatching activities to ensure timely delivery schedules are met
• Inventory transportation coordination (i.e. contacting and negotiating with carriers)
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and requests

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in import logistics coordination or a related field
• Candidate must be hardworking, accountable and organized
• Candidate should be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and general computer skills
• Candidate must be fluent in Mandarin Chinese (reading, writing, typing and speaking)
• Candidate needs to have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to work well in a friendly team-oriented environment
• Bachelors or Associates Degree is required

Salary:

• Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
• Pay will commensurate with experience
• Job Type: Full-time

Schedule & Work Location:

• 8 hours per day
• In-person work only

Experience:

• Import Logistics & Supply Chain Experience: 3 years minimum

Languages:

• English (Required)
