Logistics Specialist

On behalf of our global client operating in the Technology industry, we are looking for a "Logistics Specialist" to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inbound Logistics Management:

- Oversee and coordinate inbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods.

- Manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance with delivery schedules and quality standards.

2. Warehousing and Storage:

- Direct warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order processing, and inventory management.

3. Outbound Logistics Coordination:

- Manage the outbound logistics process, including order fulfillment and shipment of products to customers within Turkey & export from Turkey to MEA countries.

- Ensure that all outbound shipments meet regulatory and compliance standards.

4. Freight Coordination:

- Liaise with freight forwarders and carriers for timely delivery of orders

- Track and manage shipments to ensure timely delivery while resolving any issues that arise.

5. Compliance with Trade Regulations:

- Ensure adherence to Honeywell Trade Compliance guidelines for all logistics operations.

- Collaborate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals and clearances.

6. Inventory Management:

- Utilize SAP for managing inventory levels, including tracking physical goods stored in 3PL warehouses.

- Execute and oversee regular cycle counts and annual inventory counts to maintain accuracy.

7. Supplier Performance Monitoring:

- Monitor set KPIs to evaluate supplier performance and compliance with service level agreements.

- Prepare and present regular reports on supplier performance, highlighting any deviations or issues.

8. Control Authority Approvals:

- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to secure necessary control authority approvals for logistics operations – including TSE inspection, product registration etc.

- Ensure that all logistics practices comply with internal policies and external regulations.

9. Deviation Management and Reporting:

- Investigate and report deviations in logistics processes, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and improve logistical processes.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Minimum of [5+] years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on end-to-end logistics operations.

- Proficiency in SAP for inventory management; experience with 3PL integration is highly desirable.

- Strong understanding of trade compliance regulations and logistics best practices.

Skills

-Language proficiency in English & Turkish is mandatory

- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and logistics software.
