We are supporting the delivery of an upcoming large-scale international sporting tournament in Saudi Arabia and are looking for an experienced
Logistics Specialist
to join the team.
The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing logistics operations across multiple event venues and operational sites. The role requires excellent organizational skills, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, vendors, transport providers, and stakeholders to ensure the timely movement, tracking, and availability of all event-related assets and materials.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily logistics operations across multiple venues and event locations.

Plan and monitor the movement of equipment, materials, and event assets.

Track deliveries, shipments, and inventory to ensure timely availability.

Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, freight providers, transport companies, and internal stakeholders.

Support inventory management, warehousing, storage, and distribution activities.

Ensure timely deployment, relocation, and retrieval of event assets.

Assist in transportation planning, scheduling, and route coordination.

Prepare and maintain logistics trackers, inventory records, and operational reports.

Develop and maintain logistics dashboards and reports using
Power BI
to monitor KPIs and operational performance.

Analyze logistics data to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.

Monitor logistics KPIs and provide regular status updates to management.

Ensure compliance with operational procedures, health & safety standards, and event logistics protocols.

Support contingency planning and resolve logistics issues proactively.

Participate in logistics planning meetings and operational briefings.

Maintain accurate documentation, including delivery notes, asset registers, and inventory reconciliation.

Support post-event logistics activities, including asset recovery and inventory reconciliation.
Candidate Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or coordination.

Previous experience supporting events, sports tournaments, exhibitions, or large-scale projects is highly preferred.

Mandatory proficiency in Microsoft Power BI
, including creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, formulas, and data analysis).

Experience using inventory management, ERP, or logistics management systems is an advantage.
