Logistics Supervisor

ZOOMLION is seeking a skilled and motivated Logistics Supervisor to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement logistics strategies and policies
• Managed monthly import & cross trade of heavy vehicles outside the country
• Maintain good relations with external parties such as freight forwarders, JAFZA Authority, transporters, Dubai RTA, and Dubai Customs, to resolve issues and improve logistics efficiency.
• Maintain 100% accuracy for Shipping documents (Invoice, Packing list, Certificate of Origin, Bill of lading and AWB)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, product line, service engineers, finance, and sales.
• Ensured timely customs clearance and proper documentation for cross-border shipments to Oman, KSA, and Qatar.
• Managed transport planning, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and 3PL warehouse providers to secure reliable and cost-effective logistics services.
• Analyzed & proposed the financial impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, and product variations.
• Led and managed a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to achieve a 100% monthly delivery target.
• Provided material-handling equipment, tools, forklifts, and workers for safe and efficient loading and unloading.
• Ensured compliance with company and JAFZA rules for vehicle movement, storage of materials, and safety standards.
• Monitored payable accounts, duty refund, debit/credit notes, and verified freight invoices & reviewed credit limits.

Qualifications :

• 5+ years relevant local experience in logistics operations, JAFZA experience highly requested
• 5+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory management, and import/export operations experience
• Vehicle registration experience
• Good understanding of Custom clearance, Compliance, Shipping documents, Supplier Negotiation, LCs, Knowledge of INCO terms
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of time management and urgency
• Ability to lead a team
• With valid Driving License
