Job Summary
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring efficient transportation, storage, and distribution of goods. The role ensures timely deliveries, cost control, inventory accuracy, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily logistics activities including inbound and outbound deliveries
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments
- Plan and monitor delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance
- Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock accuracy
- Ensure proper documentation for shipments, invoices, and delivery notes
- Monitor logistics costs and identify areas for efficiency improvement
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Manage, train, and evaluate logistics staff and drivers
- Resolve delivery issues, delays, and operational challenges
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain operations
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and MS Office
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
