Logistics Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Coordination
• Supervise and guide logistics coordinators and warehouse staff.
• Allocate tasks and monitor performance to ensure operational efficiency.
• Provide training and support to team members.
• Operational Execution
• Oversee daily logistics activities including inbound/outbound shipments, customs clearance, and site deliveries.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation (shipping, invoicing, customs, etc.).
• Coordinate with procurement, project teams, and suppliers to align logistics plans.
• Coordinate the project oversized cargoes and manage the heavy lifting operations with concerned stakeholders ( Shipping , Inlands transportation ) and approve the job method of statements.
• Compliance & Reporting
• Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on logistics performance.
• Support audits and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Process Improvement
• Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve logistics workflows.
• Implement best practices and digital tools to enhance efficiency.
• Stakeholder Communication
• Liaise with internal departments, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Resolve issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in the construction or energy sector.
• Proven leadership experience in managing logistics teams.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and Incoterms.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
