Logistics Team Lead (UAEN)

Basic Function & Scope

The Logistics Team Lead is responsible for Logistics personnel in the areas of parts receipts, binning, picking, issuance, exports, and other warehouse activities. The role is responsible for store personnel updates and all necessary system transactions at every stage of material movement, and for supervising the processing of repair items.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an aerospace maintenance and aircraft operating environment, preferably in military, of which at least 3 years in a similar position in an aviation distribution industry
• Knowledge of Purchasing, as well as the shipping and receiving process and logistics, including identifying materials that are hazardous or require special shipping containers or packaging

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations including parts receipt, inspection validation, binning, picking, issuance, and exports
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and environmental conditions for all materials including POL items
• Maintain accurate system transactions and inventory records in the cMRO Oracle system
• Conduct cycle counts, monitor expiring items, and report inventory discrepancies
• Coordinate repair item processing and ensure proper handling of scrap and dispatched materials
• Manage Pick-Up & Delivery (PUD) schedules to meet operational requirements
• Monitor and manage KPIs and Turnaround Times (TATs)
• Supervise warehouse personnel including shift scheduling, training, and workload allocation
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental procedures
• Coordinate with inspectors, storekeepers, suppliers, and internal teams to support operational requirements
• Maintain documentation, records, and filing systems for operational tracking and audits
