Long Term, Afternoon Nanny

Compensation: $20–$22 per hour
Guaranteed Hours: 20 hours per week

Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 12:00 PM–5:00 PM

Position Overview

This family is seeking a warm, nurturing, and engaging nanny to care for their 6-month-old daughter. She is a happy baby who enjoys music, interactive play, and being held. She is currently exclusively breastfed and will be starting solids soon.

The ideal nanny will be bubbly, trustworthy, and passionate about early childhood development. The family values a Montessori-inspired approach, outdoor and nature-based play, and limited screen time, and they follow these practices within their home.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care
• Plan and engage in educational, age-appropriate activities
• Encourage outdoor and nature-based play
• Assist with meals and snacks, including baby-led weaning
• Light kitchen cleanup related to the child’s care

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must provide three childcare-related references
• Experience with infants preferred
• Montessori-oriented or learning-focused approach encouraged
• Must have a current TDAP vaccine
• Must be willing to receive the seasonal flu vaccine
