Role & Responsibilities of Civil Billing Engineer -
1. Measurement & Quantity Take-Off:
- Study BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and project drawings to extract quantities.
- Conduct site visits for physical measurement verification (Joint Measurement Sheets - JMRs).
- Prepare measurement sheets and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
2. Bill Preparation & Processing:
- Prepare Running Account (RA) bills, advance bills, and final bills for clients and subcontractors.
- Process and certify invoices from vendors and material suppliers.
- Identify and prepare extra items or variations, including rate analysis.
3. Cost Control & Financial Management:
- Estimate project costs and monitor expenses against budgets.
- Analyze item rates (labor, material, machinery).
- Prepare monthly reconciliation statements for building materials.
4. Coordination & Communication:
- Liaise with site engineers, project managers, clients, and accounts departments.
- Provide billing information and documentation to clients.
- Follow up with accounts for payment clearance.
5. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate billing records, ensuring error-free data entry in ERP/software.
- Generate MIS (Management Information System) reports.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company policies.
Core Skills Needed:
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, BBS, and rate analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and billing software.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
