Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time, energetic Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones, and implementing engaging educational activities. Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to early childhood development standards
  • Plan and execute engaging lesson plans across various subjects including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills
  • Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior and ensure safety for all children
  • Support children with special needs through individualized strategies and early intervention techniques
  • Foster social-emotional growth by encouraging communication, cooperation, and conflict resolution among students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare documentation for assessments or standardized testing
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support each child's unique learning journey
  • Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and best practices in early childhood education
  • Incorporate Montessori or other specialized educational approaches as appropriate to enhance learning experiences

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies
  • Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management
  • Proficiency in behavior management techniques and child welfare practices
  • Familiarity with preschool experience, daycare settings, private schools, or Montessori methods
  • Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
  • Experience working with students on standardized testing or tutoring programs is a plus
  • Knowledge of special education needs related to early intervention programs
  • Skills in teaching physical education, literacy education, math, or other core subjects is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning styles and abilities

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
