Job Title: Waiter / Waitress

Job Summary
The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The role requires a positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Guest Service
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus, answer questions, and provide recommendations when needed.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and addressing concerns.
Operations
- Set up the restaurant before service (tables, cutlery, condiments, etc.).
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout the service.
- Prepare and process guest bills accurately.
- Follow opening and closing procedures of the outlet.
Standards & Hygiene
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards at all times.
- Ensure proper handling and presentation of food and beverages.
Teamwork
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Assist team members during busy periods.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in F&B service is an advantage.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude, friendly personality, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under pressure and during peak hours.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems is an advantage.
