We seek an experienced and skilled lorry driver to transport wood materials between our factory and various destinations. The successful candidate will operate a half-lorry to safely transport wood products while ensuring efficient delivery schedules and proper load management

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a half-lorry to transport wood products between factory and delivery points
• Load and unload wood materials efficiently and safely
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of vehicle and cargo
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, and vehicle condition
• Ensure proper securing of wood cargo using appropriate fastening equipment
• Navigate both urban route Kuwait
• Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and challenges

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 75 pounds
• Capable of climbing in/out of cab multiple times daily
• Endurance for extended sitting during long drives
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions

Essential Qualifications

• Valid Kuwait heavy Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Clean driving record
• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles

Working Conditions

• Variable shift patterns including early morning starts
• Regular weekend work may be required
• Extended hours during peak production periods
• Work in all weather conditions

Safety Responsibilities

• Follow all traffic laws and regulations
• Adhere to company safety protocols
• Perform routine vehicle safety checks
• Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly
• Maintain clean and organized vehicle interior

Equipment Operation

• Half-lorry truck operation
• Cargo securing systems
• Basic vehicle maintenance tools
