• Location: Dallas, TX

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for structured cabling, fiber optics, and security systems.

• Work with PMs, engineers, and vendors to deliver precise, competitive bids on fast timelines.

Low Voltage Estimator (BICSI Certified) - Responsibilities

• Review specs, drawings, and RFPs; develop detailed material and labor takeoffs.

• Estimate structured cabling, fiber optic backbone, copper (Cat6/Cat6A), and wireless/security scope.

• Evaluate routing, pulling, pathway, termination, and testing requirements.

• Create proposals, scopes, BOMs, alternates, and value engineering options.

• Confirm compliance with BICSI, NEC, and TIA/EIA standards.

• Collaborate with PMs and vendors on pricing, lead times, and clarifications.

• Support pre-bid RFIs, site walks, and handoff to operations upon award.

Low Voltage Estimator (BICSI Certified) - Qualifications

• BICSI certification required; RCDD preferred.

• 3+ years in low voltage or telecom estimating.

• Hands-on background with structured cabling and fiber terminations.

• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.

• Proficient with Excel and takeoff/estimating tools such as Bluebeam, Accubid, Esticom, or PlanSwift.

• Strong organization, communication, and analytical skills.

Low Voltage Estimator (BICSI Certified) - Schedule, Travel, Location

• Full-time, Monday to Friday.

• Occasional site walks and pre-bid meetings in DFW.

• Travel up to 15% within the Dallas-Fort Worth metro.
