Low Voltage (L.V) and Security Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement low voltage systems including lighting, sub-distribution panels, and electrical wiring inside buildings.
• Manage and execute security systems such as CCTV cameras, Access Control systems, and intrusion/fire alarm systems.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure quality execution and adherence to technical specifications.
• Review and approve drawings and technical specifications related to L.V and security systems.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of low voltage and security systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local/international electrical codes.
• Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams on these systems.
• Report regularly to the Project Manager on work progress and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing low voltage and security systems in infrastructure or commercial building projects.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and alarm systems.
• Familiarity with local and international electrical and security standards and codes.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with ability to work in a team environment.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
• Kuwait Driving License preferred.
• Transferable residency (Article 18) is preferable.
