Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes swiftly.
- Repair and replace mechanical parts using precision measuring instruments, and hand tools.
- Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts safely to access high or hard-to-reach machinery.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Collaborate with operations teams to support manufacturing processes.
- Conduct safety inspections adhering to industrial electrician standards, including high voltage and low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in training team members on proper maintenance procedures and the use of analysis tools like ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Support customer service initiatives by ensuring machinery operates reliably to meet production deadlines.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CCTV security cameras and systems.
- Perform other routine building repair and maintenance including lighting, plumbing, etc.
- Lead other special projects and tasks as directed by management.
Experience
- Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong electrical experience with knowledge of industrial electrician practices, including troubleshooting high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics interpretation, and mechanical repairs.
- Familiarity with analysis tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Experience working in a field service capacity or supporting manufacturing operations is highly desirable.
- Military background or training in industrial maintenance adds valuable discipline and technical skills.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
