Machine Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes swiftly.
• Repair and replace mechanical parts using precision measuring instruments, and hand tools.
• Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts safely to access high or hard-to-reach machinery.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with operations teams to support manufacturing processes.
• Conduct safety inspections adhering to industrial electrician standards, including high voltage and low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in training team members on proper maintenance procedures and the use of analysis tools like ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Support customer service initiatives by ensuring machinery operates reliably to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CCTV security cameras and systems.
• Perform other routine building repair and maintenance including lighting, plumbing, etc.
• Lead other special projects and tasks as directed by management.

Experience

• Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.
• Strong electrical experience with knowledge of industrial electrician practices, including troubleshooting high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics interpretation, and mechanical repairs.
• Familiarity with analysis tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R systems maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
• Experience working in a field service capacity or supporting manufacturing operations is highly desirable.
• Military background or training in industrial maintenance adds valuable discipline and technical skills.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
