Machine Operator

Position: Machine Operator
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Location: SITE Area
Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Plant Manager

Job Purpose

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production flow while meeting quality standards and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions, adjust controls, and maintain smooth production.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication.
• Measure and inspect finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Record production data, downtime, and machine performance in logs or ERP systems.
• Report any equipment faults, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Support production team in achieving daily/weekly production targets.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and standard operating practices (SOPs).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and measurements.
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs35,000.00 per month
