Machinery Operator

Machine operators run, monitor, and maintain machinery in factories and industrial settings to produce goods, handling tasks like loading materials, calibrating equipment, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting issues to ensure efficient production, working with everything from CNC machines to heavy construction equipment across diverse sectors like automotive, medical, and food processing. They need strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and adherence to strict safety protocols to manage equipment that creates tangible products, with roles often requiring specific training but sometimes entry-level opportunities. Key Duties & Responsibilities Operation: Starting, running, and adjusting machinery like lathes, mills, injection molding machines, or forklifts. Setup & Calibration: Preparing equipment by aligning and calibrating it for specific tasks. Monitoring: Checking machine performance, output quality, and efficiency during production. Maintenance: Performing routine cleaning, inspections, and minor repairs (like oil changes). Quality Control: Inspecting finished products for defects and ensuring they meet standards. Documentation: Recording production data and performance logs.
