We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, along with the ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on various systems. This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues effectively.
• Fabricate parts as needed using welding techniques and other fabrication methods.
• Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to standard.
• Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work completed and parts used.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and efficiency.

Skills

• Proficient in mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
• Experience in welding and fabrication techniques is preferred.
• Strong electrical skills, including familiarity with logic controllers.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
• Supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a maintenance setting.
• A commitment to safety standards and practices within the workplace.
