Maintenance Assistant
, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring a welcoming environment for our residents, families, and team members.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and team-oriented
Maintenance Assistant
to join our community. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, ensuring the facility is in excellent condition, and providing exceptional service to our residents and families. Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas

Assist with all repairs, preventative maintenance, refurbishing projects, and furniture/equipment moving

Maintain the facility grounds

Ensure that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience

Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills, as requested
-
Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results
Qualifications:
-
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent

Two (2) years' experience as a building trade helper, apprentice, or equivalent preferred
-
You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done
