Maintenance Engineer

About the Role

The role involves installing and maintaining various electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical, lighting, mechanical, plumbing equipment and other appliances
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
• Apply safety precautions while maintenance work is being carried out pertaining to safety regulations and procedures
• Comprehend the size and install conduits, conductors, switches, outlets and junction boxes
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
• Perform any mechanical or plumbing maintenance works as directed by Manager
• Install light bulbs, doors, cabinets, paneling
• Replace washers, faucets and seals on malfunctioning plumbing equipment; repair leaky faucets and clean clogged drains; install and repair sprinklers
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, HVAC, pipes and fixtures
• Conduct periodic maintenance checks of all equipment as per schedule
• Maintain a level of ZERO Breakdown for all equipment
• Undertake preventive maintenance of machines
• Dismantle, shift and assemble machines from one store to another

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience

Required Skills

Experience in installation and maintenance of electrical and plumbing systems.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
