Job Summary:
Responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, and breakdown repair of CNC machines and related automation systems. Ensure minimal downtime, high equipment reliability, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:1. Maintenance & Repair
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of CNC machines (Turning, Milling, VMC, HMC, EDM, etc.).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in CNC systems.
- Repair and replace components such as servo motors, drives, encoders, ball screws, spindles, hydraulic and pneumatic parts.
- Conduct routine inspection and calibration of machines to maintain accuracy.
- Maintain maintenance logs and service reports accurately.
2. Installation & Commissioning
- Install new CNC machines, perform mechanical alignment, electrical wiring, and testing.
- Coordinate with OEMs and suppliers for technical support and commissioning.
3. Electrical & Control Systems
- Handle PLC systems, servo drives, control panels, wiring, sensors, relays, and circuit troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret electrical & mechanical schematics.
- Check and maintain earthing, safety interlocks, and power quality for CNC systems.
4. Mechanical Systems
- Maintain spindles, bearings, ball screws, guideways, lubrication, coolant, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Oversee alignment, leveling, backlash adjustments, and part accuracy improvements.
5. Documentation & Safety
- Maintain service records, spare part lists, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Follow ISO, 5S, and safety standards during all maintenance work.
6. Continuous Improvement
- Suggest and implement improvements to increase equipment uptime and performance.
- Train operators and junior technicians on basic maintenance practices.
Qualifications & Skills:Education:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Electronics Engineering.
Experience:
- 2–8 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance (Mechanical & Electrical).
- Hands-on experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Haas CNC controls.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, PLCs, and CNC controls.
- Experience in troubleshooting drives, motors, encoders, and control circuits.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems.
Soft Skills:
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours (field role).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
