Job Summary

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, reliability, and performance of all machinery and equipment at the production facility. The role involves planning and executing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous operational improvement in line with company standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production machinery and utilities.
  • Diagnose mechanical or electrical faults and implement timely corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
  • Monitor and analyze machine performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and spare parts inventory.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new machines and equipment.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and contractors for equipment maintenance and spare parts sourcing.
  • Participate in developing and implementing maintenance procedures and standards.
  • Contribute to energy conservation and cost reduction initiatives.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
  • 2–5 years of experience in maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment .
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance systems is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • High attention to detail and sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, automation, and control circuits is a plus.
  • Understanding of maintenance planning and reliability techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with maintenance management software or ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Good command of English and Arabic (written and spoken).
  • Ability to lead and coordinate with technicians and support staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
