The Maintenance Manager – Egypt Plant is responsible for leading the maintenance team to ensure the optimal functioning of all plant equipment, utilities, and facilities in the manufacturing plant. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, reduces downtime, and drives continuous improvement initiatives aligned with production goals and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, schedule, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and electricians to ensure timely repair and preventative maintenance of equipment.

Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on high-speed beverage production lines, including fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, and packaging equipment.

Monitor and maintain a manual Maintenance Management System for accurate tracking of work orders, asset history, and parts inventory in Pragma and Mfg. Pro until Aujan ERP is upgraded to M S Dynamics

Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA, GMP, HACCP, etc.) and manage site access control, site surveillance and IT systems protection.

Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to support operational efficiency like OEE, in product loss reduction and capital projects.

Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.

Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action processes for all equipment failures.

Support energy conservation, sustainability, and utility management initiatives and ensure timely reporting of consumption of utilities (SC monthly scorecard)

Train, coach, and develop maintenance staff to support skill growth and operational excellence.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred.

5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food or beverage industry.

Strong knowledge of high-speed bottling or canning equipment.

Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in a unionized or non-unionized environment.

Proficient with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.

Familiar with lean manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
