Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

-Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection moulding tools (2-plate, 3-plate, hot runner systems, etc.).

-Conduct tool trials, identify issues, and execute corrective actions.

-Carry out routine inspection, polishing, and reconditioning of moulds.

-Handle tool fitting, assembling/disassembling, and bench work as required.

-Maintain records of tool history, maintenance schedules, and spares usage.

-Coordinate with the production and quality teams for tool performance feedback.

-Ensure minimum downtime by proactively identifying tool-related issues.

Work on improving tool life and performance through engineering changes.

-Maintain 5S and safety practices within the tool room and maintenance areas

Key Requirements:

-Diploma/ITI in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical, or relevant technical discipline.

-3 - 6 years of relevant experience in injection moulding tool maintenance.

-Strong knowledge of tool room machines like grinding, milling, lathe, EDM, etc.

-Hands-on experience with preventive and breakdown maintenance of moulds.

-Willing to work on Shift.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
