Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation, preventive maintenance, and timely repair of production machinery and utilities within a mobile manufacturing facility. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, improving equipment efficiency, and supporting uninterrupted production through effective maintenance planning and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production machines and assembly line equipment

· Ensure maximum machine uptime and minimum production downtime

· Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and automation-related faults on production equipment

· Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities without impacting targets

· Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and spare parts records

· Ensure availability and proper management of critical spare parts and tools

· Implement maintenance SOPs, checklists, and safety procedures

· Ensure compliance with safety standards, audit requirements, and company policies

· Support installation, commissioning, and modification of machines and production lines

· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency and reliability

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor’s / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering

· 2–4 years of experience in factory or manufacturing maintenance

· Strong knowledge of production machinery, PLC basics, and automation systems

· Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently

· Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices and TPM concepts

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

· Basic proficiency in MS Excel and maintenance reporting systems

Preferred Experience

· Experience in mobile phone assembly, electronics manufacturing, or FMCG plants

· Hands-on experience with SMT lines, assembly equipment, testing machines, or conveyors

· Familiarity with safety audits, ISO standards, and compliance requirements
