Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of Ash Handling Systems (AHS).
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment such as crushers, conveyors, pipelines, rotary feeders, hydro ejectors, and ash slurry pumps.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and equipment history.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities in coordination with operations teams.
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines during maintenance work.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of Ash Handling System equipment and operation.
- Proficiency in using mechanical tools and measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manuals.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Safety-conscious with knowledge of standard operating procedures.
Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
- 2–3 years of relevant hands-on experience in Ash Handling System maintenance, preferably in a power plant or heavy industry.
