- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Review engineering drawings, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and layouts.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants for engineering deliverables.
- Supervise site construction, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation works.
- Monitor safety, quality, and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and trial runs of process equipment.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation.
- Provide hands-on engineering solutions for on-site challenges.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of chemical plant engineering and construction.
- Hands-on experience in project execution and site supervision.
- Good understanding of EHS and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- 5–12 years of experience in project engineering in chemical, specialty chemicals, or dyes industry.
- Exposure to greenfield/brownfield projects preferred.
- Knowledge of process equipment (reactors, dryers, centrifuges, utilities, ETP/ZLD).
- Experience in reading and interpreting P&IDs, GA drawings, and process flow diagrams.
