Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Engineer to provide technical support for the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment. The role involves supervising workshop personnel, distributing tasks among teams, and ensuring efficient maintenance operations.

Duties:

• Technical support for heavy equipment maintenance and repair jobs
• Ensure adequate stocks of parts are available.
• Diagnoses difficult problems and recommends repairs
• Organizing the workshop personnel
• Ordering of spare parts
• Distribution of work to teams
• Checking progress of individual jobs
• Adhere to HSE Regulations in the workshop and on the site
• Ensure HSE regulations are followed by his teams
• Reporting to site management, ensuring necessary records are kept

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proven experience working with construction or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of construction and heavy equipment systems.
• Experience with ERP systems for maintenance and inventory management.
• Familiarity with equipment diagnostic platforms such as CAT SIS, MyLiebherr or similar systems.
• Working knowledge of CAD software.
