Maintenance Engineer (Willing to relocate to Iraq)

𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, testing, and client handover of security systems across multiple sites. This role ensures the optimal performance of critical security infrastructure, including Networking, CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and power systems

𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒, 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒 & 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunications, or IT with a Physics background.

2. Cisco CCNA/CCNP, BCNE, and product certifications in CCTV (Milestone, Genetec, Axis),

3. ACS (LENEL, KERISYS, PAXTON), Biometrics, ANPR, Video Analytics, and related systems.

4. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with a wide range of security systems on total or turnaround projects.

5. Strong technical troubleshooting and maintenance capabilities.

6. Excellent communication skills and a very good command of English.

7. Solid computer literacy and understanding of systems/software.

8. Good project management and people management skills.

𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒:

1. Monitor daily system fault logs and identify issues promptly.

2. Conduct root‑cause analysis, recommend solutions, and ensure timely rectification of recurring problems.

3. Coordinate with clients, IT, FM, AP, site teams, and contractors to ensure smooth operations.

4. Maintain accurate records of faults, PPMs, callouts, and system performance.

5. Ensure all systems are correctly connected to relevant control rooms/security offices.

6. Manage firmware updates, security patches, and uniform system configurations.

7. Maintain user access protocols and perform end-user training when needed.

8. Administer networks, hardware, system software, and configurations securely.

9. Implement IT-approved network security measures across systems.

10. Monitor overall system performance and recommend future improvements.

11. Maintain logs and records for maintenance, repairs, and system activities.

12. Supervise and guide technicians during PPMs, callouts, inspections, and site implementations.

13. Prepare test reports for cabling, terminations, power management, and updates to shop drawings.

14. Complete service reports for ongoing, additional, and variation works.

15. Oversee emergency breakdown responses and ensure rapid system recovery.
