Maintenance Foreman

  • Assign daily maintenance tasks and projects to technicians and workers.
  • Supervise maintenance staff to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to standard.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel.
  • Schedule preventive maintenance for machinery, facilities, and equipment.
  • Prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency and operational needs.
  • Ensure proper allocation of resources—tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, machinery, and systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or structural issues and determine corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely response to emergency maintenance calls.
  • Maintain detailed logs of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.
  • Prepare and submit reports on maintenance activities, costs, and resource usage.
  • Track inventory and order necessary supplies and spare parts.
  • Ensure maintenance work complies with safety regulations, codes, and company policies.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
  • Identify potential hazards and initiate corrective measures.
  • Liaise with management, engineers, and other departments to coordinate projects.
  • Facilitate communication between shifts and ensure smooth handovers.
  • Recommend improvements for equipment performance and reliability.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems
