Operations Manager

Industry: Cleaning & Facilities Management
Reports To: General Manager / Director

Job Summary

The operations manager is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, ensuring service quality, managing staff, controlling costs, and maintaining client satisfaction. The role involves planning, coordination, supervision, and continuous improvement of cleaning services across all sites.

Key Responsibilities: Operations Management

  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily cleaning operations at all assigned sites
  • Ensure cleaning services meet company standards, client requirements, and contractual obligations
  • Prepare and manage duty rosters, schedules, and manpower allocation
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits

Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, and supervise cleaning staff, supervisors, and team leaders
  • Monitor staff attendance, performance, and discipline
  • Handle staff issues, grievances, and implement corrective actions when required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and safety regulations

Client & Service Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding operational matters
  • Address client complaints promptly and implement corrective measures
  • Maintain strong client relationships to ensure contract retention and growth
  • Support business development by assisting with new site mobilization

Quality, Health & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions
  • Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and PPE
  • Implement quality control procedures and continuous improvement initiatives

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Manage cleaning materials, chemicals, equipment, and consumables
  • Control operational costs and minimize wastage
  • Coordinate with procurement for timely supply of materials
  • Prepare operational reports, KPIs, and performance analysis

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
  • Coordinate with HR, finance, and procurement departments
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting operational expenses

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
