Maintenance Handyman

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical components.
• Conduct repairs using welding techniques and mechanical knowledge to fix equipment or structural issues.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical systems efficiently.
• Carry out residential painting projects to enhance property aesthetics and maintain visual appeal.
• Operate CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
• Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed on time.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in electrical systems, schematics reading, and troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters.
• Skilled in welding techniques for structural repairs or fabrication tasks.
• Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of residential painting techniques for property beautification projects.
• Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.

Pay: $24.23 - $29.18 per hour
