Maintenance Handyman

Monmouth Executive Airport is seeking a full-time building and ground facility worker to join our on-site maintenance team.

Position Summary: The ideal candidate for this position will have general knowledge in construction and is responsible for performing a variety of daily tasks including the maintenance and repair of buildings and landscape grounds. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary based on client requirements and business needs.

Essential Functions:

· Inspects assigned areas on a routine basis and performs maintenance where necessary to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition.

· Learn to operate mowing and snow removal equipment

· Repairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, etc.

· Knowledge of framing, installing windows and doors, siding, insulation installation, drywall install and finish, trim work and painting preferred

· Reports any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate

· Other duties and task as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

· Previous maintenance experience required

• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
• Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
• Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC general knowledge, or the ability to learn, preferred
• Valid driver’s license and vision correctable to 20/20 is required
• Has own set of tools

A full benefits package is available with this position; 2 weeks PTO and full health insurance coverage, paid holidays. Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
