Maintenance Helper

Your boss shouldn't take credit for your work. Period.

You’re the one keeping things moving. Fixing what’s broken. Showing up when things go down. But too often, entry-level roles like this don’t get the respect they deserve.

At Wisenbaker, we do things differently. The people doing the work are the ones who get recognized, supported, and developed. We don’t just want help, we want future technicians in the making.

We’re not looking for perfection. We’re looking for effort, reliability, and a real willingness to learn. If you’re waiting for a “perfect job” or don’t want to get your hands dirty, this isn’t it.

But if you’re ready to step into the skilled trades, learn from experienced technicians, and build a long-term career in industrial maintenance, this is your starting point.

Your Mission:

Show up ready to learn, support the maintenance team, and help keep our machines, equipment, and facility running safely and efficiently. You’ll be the extra set of hands that keeps everything moving, and the future technician in training.

What You’ll Be Doing (and Learning Fast While You Do It):

  • Support routine maintenance work including cleaning, painting, organizing, and basic repairs on equipment and facility systems.
  • Assist experienced technicians with troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment installations.
  • Help inspect machinery and report anything that looks off before it becomes a bigger issue.
  • Keep tools, parts, and work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Jump in on urgent repairs, heavy lifting, and vendor support when needed.
  • Learn how to properly document maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment issues.
  • Follow instructions carefully and ask questions—because that’s how you grow in this role.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong work ethic, you show up on time, stay engaged, and take pride in doing things right.
  • A willingness to learn, we’ll teach you the technical side; you bring the attitude.
  • Physical ability to be on your feet, lift materials, and work in a manufacturing environment.
  • A safety-first mindset, you don’t cut corners, even when things get busy.
  • Basic mechanical interest or hands-on experience is a plus but not required.

At Wisenbaker, we don’t just support the homebuilding industry, we help build it from the ground up. As one of the largest interior finish solutions providers in the country, we partner with top homebuilders to deliver flooring, countertops, and cabinets that turn houses into homes. But we’re more than materials, we’re a people-powered operation where hard work is noticed, growth is real, and leadership actually leads.
