Maintenance Manager – Fast Food Restaurant Chain

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee all maintenance operations across our fast-food restaurant locations throughout Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will ensure that all facilities, kitchen equipment, and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards of Safety, Efficiency, and Hygiene—supporting uninterrupted restaurant operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Multi-Site Maintenance Oversight

Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across multiple branches, including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment.

- Preventive Maintenance Planning

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

- Vendor & Contractor Management

Source, evaluate, and manage third-party service providers for specialized repairs and installations. Negotiate contracts and ensure service quality.

- Compliance & Safety

Ensure all branches comply with Saudi building codes, SFDA regulations, and health and safety standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections.

- Emergency Response

Lead rapid response to urgent maintenance issues, minimizing operational disruptions.

- Team Leadership

Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance technicians. Provide ongoing coaching and performance reviews.

- Inventory & Asset Management

Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables. Track asset conditions and manage replacements.

- Reporting & Budgeting

Prepare maintenance reports, track KPIs, and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering (or equivalent).

- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry.

- Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment (Fryers, Ovens, Chillers, etc.).

- Valid Saudi Driving License.

- Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

- Certification in HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing trades.

- Experience working with international fast-food brands.

- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
