Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Maintenance Staff: Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of technicians and other maintenance personnel.
- Manage Budgets: Develop and track department budgets, monitor expenses, and manage the purchasing of necessary parts and equipment.
- Inspect & Maintain Assets: Conduct regular inspections of facilities, machinery, and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
- Plan & Schedule Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedule preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs and installations to minimize disruptions.
- Ensure Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures within the maintenance department.
- Manage Inventory: Oversee the inventory of tools, parts, and supplies, ensuring that necessary resources are available when needed.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with other departments, upper management, and external contractors to address issues and coordinate efforts.

- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in maintenance procedures, relevant equipment, and safety protocols.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to report on issues, provide guidance, and coordinate with staff.
- Organizational Skills: The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet objectives.
