**Maintenance Coordinator/Facilities Manager**
Seeking a Maintenance/Facilities Manger in the Spokane area to provide hands on repairs and as well as routine preventative maintenance in a healthcare setting.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* preventative maintenance (both hands on and coordination with outside vendors)
*identification and purchase of necessary materials and supplies
*painting and repairs
* minor to moderate electrical and plumbing,
*routine system testing
*minor structural repair and maintenance
*floor maintenance, and general upkeep of the environment
Required Qualifications:
*Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
*Able to take direction and work both collaboratively and independently
*Previous maintenance experience in Assisted Living/skilled nursing/hospital/hotel/apartments
*Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between buildings.
*Prior knowledge and ability in electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, refrigeration, carpentry, plastering, painting and heating
* Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, families, members of the community and other community personnel.
* Possess a special interest in and positive attitude about geriatric residents
*Ability to identify issues, plan, organize, prioritize work and complete work with a minimum of supervision
* Ability to work within federal and state regulations and community policies and procedures.
*Pass a Criminal Background Fingerprint Check as required by Washington State.
*Prioritize work orders. Participate in repair work such as masonry, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, air conditioning and heating.
*Perform routine maintenance checks of building, grounds, community and equipment.
*Keep a current inventory of system testing, maintenance supplies, tools, equipment and stock
*Conduct routine tests of various systems and equipment such as the emergency generator, fire alarm, sprinkler system, hood and duct system, door alarms, call bells, and hot water system. Fire and Disaster Preparedness Safety:
*Maintain work area(s) in clean, safe, organized and sanitary condition at all times. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Return tools and equipment to appropriate storage areas.
*Oversee safety programs to provide a safe working environment and prevent injury.
* Complete forms and reports as required: maintain records of all maintenance activities
*Current dependable transportation and clean driving record.
