Maintenance Manager - Stores Fruits & Vegetables - KSA site

Responsibilities & Duties

· Refrigeration System Management: Overseeing industrial systems using ammonia, CO₂, or Freon. This includes maintaining compressors, evaporators, and condensers to ensure consistent temperature and humidity.

· Preventive Maintenance (PM): Developing and executing PM schedules for refrigeration units, insulated doors, seals, and dock levelers to avoid ice buildup and energy waste.

· Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the facility adheres to safety standards such as OSHA, EPA, and HACCP (food safety), specifically regarding ammonia leak response and risk management.

· Facility & Asset Care: Maintaining the structural integrity of the "cold box" (insulated panels, flooring) and supervising the repair of material handling equipment like specialized forklifts and conveyors.

Qualifications & Skills

· A degree in Engineering and experience not less than 15 years of warehouse maintenance management experience, often with a focus on cold chain or high-volume refrigerated environments and preferred of the fresh produce industry.

· Technical Expertise: Strong background in mechanical/electrical engineering and specific experience with Ammonia (NH3) refrigeration systems.

· Systems Proficiency: Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to track work orders and equipment history.
