MAINTENANCE MANAGER(Mould)

Key ResponsibilitiesMould Maintenance & Performance

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of injection moulds for lenses, frames, temples, and related components
• Ensure moulds are maintained to achieve consistent cycle time, product quality, and surface finish
• Diagnose mould-related defects such as flash, short shots, flow marks, scratches, warpage, and dimensional issues
• Maintain mould alignment, cooling systems, vents, sliders, lifters, and hot runner systems

Tool Room & Team Management

• Lead and supervise mould maintenance technicians, tool makers, and fitters
• Allocate jobs, set priorities, and ensure quick turnaround of mould repairs
• Train team members on best practices, safety, and standard maintenance procedures
• Maintain discipline, skill development, and performance evaluation of the team

Preventive Maintenance & Documentation

• Develop and implement mould preventive maintenance schedules based on shot count and production data
• Maintain mould history cards, maintenance logs, breakdown records, and spare part usage
• Standardize mould maintenance procedures and checklists
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and identification of moulds

Quality & Production Support

• Work closely with Production and Quality teams to resolve mould-related quality issues
• Support new mould trials, sampling, and production ramp-up
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring defects
• Ensure mould readiness to meet daily and monthly production plans

Spare Parts & Cost Control

• Manage inventory of mould spare parts and consumables
• Coordinate with vendors for mould repairs, polishing, welding, or modification
• Control maintenance costs while ensuring reliability and mould life improvement

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all mould maintenance activities follow safety standards and company policies
• Promote safe working practices in the tool room
• Support audits related to quality, safety, and compliance requirements

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
