We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support multiple sites. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks across electrical, HVAC, appliance, mechanical, and groundskeeping systems to ensure all sites remain safe, functional, and presentable. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver with strong technical skills and a commitment to quality work.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician handles a wide range of maintenance and repair work at several sites. This hands-on role involves troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring each site operates safely and efficiently year-round.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks at multiple residential and facility sites.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic residential electrical systems, including outlets, switches, fixtures, and wiring within safe operating limits.
• Service and maintain HVAC systems, including units requiring EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Diagnose and repair small appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, etc.).
• Conduct maintenance and repair on mowers, tractors, and small engines.
• Carry out general site duties, such as:
• Snow removal and salting during winter months.
• Mowing, trimming, and general landscaping during warmer seasons.
• Site cleanup, debris removal, and general tidiness.
• Monitor site systems and report or resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working order.
• Adhere to all safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in general maintenance, facilities, or a related trade.
• Working knowledge of:
• Basic residential electrical systems
• HVAC maintenance and repair
• Small appliance repair
• Mower and tractor maintenance
• Ability to operate light machinery, power tools, and landscaping equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (multi-site travel required).
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification.
• Candidates must have this before start date if they do not already possess. Hazy Mountain is willing to reimburse the cost of the upon hire.
• Basic plumbing repair experience.
• Light carpentry or painting experience.
• Flexibility for on-call or emergency repair shifts as needed.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
