Maintenance Mechanical Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesPressing Shop Maintenance

• Maintain mechanical & hydraulic power presses, press brakes, and related tooling.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems, valves, cylinders, pumps, and pressure issues.
• Ensure proper die setting, alignment, and lubrication.
• Monitor press safety systems (light curtains, interlocks, emergency stops).
• Carry out preventive maintenance to avoid press breakdowns.

Welding Shop Maintenance

• Maintain spot welding, MIG, TIG, and projection welding machines.
• Troubleshoot welding transformers, controllers, timers, and cooling systems.
• Maintain welding fixtures, jigs, clamps, and robotic welding systems (if applicable).
• Ensure proper earthing, cable condition, and welding safety compliance.
• Reduce electrode wear and ensure consistent weld quality support.

Powder Coating Plant Maintenance

• Maintain pretreatment plants, spray booths, ovens, and conveyor systems.
• Troubleshoot powder guns, control panels, reciprocators, and recovery systems.
• Maintain curing ovens, burners, temperature controllers, and airflow systems.
• Ensure proper functioning of compressors, chillers, and air dryers.
• Control dust collection systems and fire safety equipment.

Electrical & Automation Maintenance

• Maintain electrical panels, MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and HMIs.
• Attend electrical breakdowns related to production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance of motors, cables, and control circuits.
• Support basic automation and parameter setting for machines.

Preventive Maintenance & Documentation

• Prepare and execute PM schedules for pressing, welding, and coating lines.
• Maintain breakdown reports, maintenance logs, and spare parts records.
• Identify recurring issues and implement corrective & preventive actions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,567.94 - ₹35,671.73 per month
