Maintenance Officer

Role Overview

The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning, preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment and utilities to support uninterrupted API manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of process equipment, utilities, and machinery.
• Maintain equipment such as reactors, centrifuges, dryers, pumps, compressors, boilers, HVAC, and utility systems.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams for minimal downtime and efficient equipment availability.
• Implement safety and GMP standards during maintenance activities.
• Support in calibration and validation of equipment as per regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance records, logbooks, and compliance documentation.
• Assist in planning spare parts inventory and vendor coordination.
• Participate in audits (internal/external) and ensure compliance with regulatory norms.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical.
• 2–5 years of maintenance experience in API / Pharma manufacturing plants.
• Hands-on exposure to cGMP guidelines, equipment maintenance, and utility operations.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, SOPs, and documentation practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
