Maintenance Planner

Location: Education City, Qatar
Salary: QAR 4,000 – Full Package (all benefits and allowances included)
Contract Duration: 6–9 months (extendable)
Work Schedule: 6 days per week (including 10 hours overtime)

Job Description

Our client, a global engineering technology company in Qatar, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to support maintenance operations at our facility in Education City, Qatar. The role involves planning, scheduling, and monitoring maintenance activities while ensuring accurate reporting and efficient use of resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities
  • Create, manage, and track work orders using CMMS
  • Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Analyze maintenance data and prepare reports, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure proper planning and resource allocation
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Assist with inventory and spare parts planning when required

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 3–5 years of experience in maintenance planning or a related maintenance role
  • Strong experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, reporting)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Good understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices
  • Ability to analyze maintenance data and generate accurate reports and KPIs
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Basic knowledge of inventory and spare parts management is an advantage
