**Job Purpose:**

- Support in setting the budget and monitoring the spending and utilization of spares/materials and ensure coordination among all the maintenance units when implementing the plan

**Key Accountabilities:**

1. Organize and control all maintenance planning activities for the integrated steel plant in a reliability centered approach

2. Organize, prepare, issue, and monitor for spares, manpower, special tools required for all planned maintenance schedules including major plant shutdowns

3. Monitors the effectiveness of planned maintenance activities and recommend/implement changes as required

4. Monitor the compliance of the maintenance units to the preventive schedule

5. Monitor the corrective interventions required

**Financial Oversight and Reporting:**

6. Support in setting the overall budget for the maintenance department

7. Raise and follow up purchase requisitions and delivery for spares, consumables, tools & tackles

8. Monitor the utilization of the maintenance spare parts and ensure efficiency and optimization

9. Create and maintain records for repair, overhaul and manufacture of spare parts required by the plant sub-section

10. Report on the maintenance department overall state to his supervisor and point out issues and recommend corrective actions

**Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:**

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

- Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial)

**EXPERIENCE:**

- 10+ years' experience in spares & maintenance planning in a similar industry

**SKILLS:**

- Independent thinking

- Strong organizational and planning abilities

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

- Good English oral and written communication skills

- Good computer skills - proficient Microsoft Office user

- Proficient in SAP PM and MM module

- Proficient in Microsoft Projects
